In accordance with Leonardo’s governance guidelines, Leonardo Global Solutions S.p.A encourages and adopts a company culture inspired by responsibility, fairness and integrity when carrying out its work, requiring the same conduct from anyone who enters into contracts with the company.
In light of this, the LGS Board of Directors has adopted an Organisation, Management and Control Model, which is applied in order to prevent any crimes from being committed as set out in Italian Legislative Decree 231/01. All recipients who work, in various capacities, in the interest of LGS (company employees, administrators, statutory auditors, clients, suppliers, partners, associates, etc.) are bound to comply with the contents of the Model. This produces suitable conduct for preventing and minimising the risk of any crimes described, and helps ensure the requirements of fairness and transparency in carrying out business and work by all stakeholders, including in accordance with the principles set out in the Group’s Charter of Values and in the company’s Code of Ethics.

Suppliers are an important part of our business model, with whom we want to build relationships based on the principles of transparency, integrity and trust in order to create long-term economic and reputational value.
This is why even in the pre-qualification phase, we ask our suppliers to follow the values and conduct which Leonardo Global Solutions abides by, as set out in the Code of Conduct for suppliers, as well as in the Code of Ethics and the Anti-Corruption Code.

In the three fields of human rights, identified as important for the Group – the management of employees, the relationships with suppliers and the sale and distribution of products – Leonardo adopts appropriate processes to prevent breaches, promoting a culture of integrity within and outside the company and constantly improving its business and trade compliance systems.
To strengthen the control system, the Group promotes the protection of human rights throughout the value chain, helping to share them among its stakeholders, while also taking part in multilateral initiatives to create synergies among associations, companies and institutions. For example, since 2019, Leonardo S.p.A has been taking part, as a Lead Company of the United Nations Global Compact, in the Action Platform for SDG 16 (Sustainable Development Goal): Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
